Hadith of the Update

Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas,

The Prophet said, "There are two blessings which many people lose : (They are) Health and free time for doing good."

Quote of the Update

Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

Larang atau Suruh

Hey guys. Tonight, I would like to talk about "Forbidding People From Doing Something But At The Same Time We Are Doing The Same Thing". Faham ke tak agaknya. Hmm. Maksudnya, kita melarang orang berbuat sesuatu tapi kita sendiri melakukan perkara yang kita larang tu. Or, asking people to do something that even we don't do. Maksudnya, suruh orang buat apa-apa, tapi kita tak buat pun. Presently, I can see, many people love to prevent someone else from doing something (something bad especially), but the problem is, they are doing the same thing. Just imagine, you forbid a guy from throwing rubbish on the road, then you ask that guy to throw it in the dustbin but then, you throw rubbish everywhere too even though the dustbin is right in front of you. Oh, I the guy saw you doing that, I'm sure he would throw you in the dustbin at that moment (LOL). Or, sometimes, a muslim boy forbid his friend from couple-ing because he said couple is prohibited in Islam. Hooo. Sure panas hati. Kalau boleh, nak pergi tuang balik segala macam penjelasan dia pasal halal haram ber-couple tu. Geram sangat-sangatlah katakan. Haha. So, dude, if you forbid other people from doing something, please make sure that you're not doing the same. Besides (this is for muslims), in the al-Quran, there are two sentences that explain about this. Here it is. So, if you don't want to be hated by Allah, don't say something that you don't do. Examples, if you are skipping your class(ponteng kelas), don't forbid other people from skipping their class because you did the same thing. Well, unless you want to be hated by Allah, then don't do it. Till the next post.
